We covered just over 2400 miles (3948 kms).

And a had fun doing it !

And now, its planning the next trip !!!

The Plan is Bound to Change !!

As someone said to me a while ago, “that’s the ideal plan - but when was the last time you heard of the ideal plan working out” HAA !

True story.

 

So, we had to “Re-Route”.

 

We left Atlantic City and headed up-state New York as you saw through the trip.

Attached is a close map of where we went.

Yes, We're back !

The trip was a little shorter than planned, primarily due to the weather !!

 

As you can see form the attached, south of New Jersey there was a bit of a heat wave – temperatures 10 to 15 degrees above normal. Way too hot for us on a bike.

As to the west, as a result of the heat, there was rain, severe thunder & lighting and tornado watches – not our thing ! ha !

It's been a couple of days...

......But through the Hudson River Valley Tour we've stayed in Spring Valley, Peekskill, Poughkeepsie....visited Nyack, Congers, Newburgh, Rhineback, Hyde Park,.....and finally Albany !

Yes Albany, New York !

The Capital of the State of New York (it isn't New York City ! )

And what magnificent downtown government buildings they have as you can see...the state capital building at the end of the mall.
